Terms of Service

By creating an account and using Horizon Store, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Horizon Store provides private cloud storage powered by Nextcloud. You receive a personal storage account hosted on our servers for a monthly subscription fee.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use Horizon Store for lawful personal and business purposes. You may NOT use Horizon Store to store or share:

Illegal content of any kind
Copyrighted material you do not have rights to distribute
Malware, viruses, or harmful code
Content that violates the rights of others

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. You will retain access until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

6. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime. We are not liable for any losses caused by temporary service interruptions or data loss. We strongly recommend keeping local backups of important files.

7. Monthly Download Limit

Each account includes a monthly download allowance of 200 GB. This limit resets on the 1st of each calendar month.

You will receive an email notification when you have used 80% of your monthly download allowance.
When the 200 GB limit is reached, file downloads will be automatically paused for the remainder of the month.
Uploading files, using Talk (video calls), editing documents online, and all other features remain fully active — only file downloads are paused.
Downloads resume automatically on the 1st of the following month.

This limit exists to ensure fair, reliable service for all users. If you regularly need more than 200 GB of downloads per month, please contact us to discuss your needs.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service without a refund.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of any material changes.
